HappyRobot is hiring a Software Engineer - Full-Stack in San Francisco with remote flexibility to build enterprise AI workforce infrastructure. This full-time position is ideal for an ambitious builder who wants to own product sections end-to-end and scale cutting-edge systems.

Role Overview

In this position, engineers take full charge of meaningful product segments and core infrastructure from beginning to end. The role calls for versatile builders who navigate ambiguity successfully, value technical craftsmanship, and desire genuine accountability for their creations. Team members collaborate directly with founders to shape the overarching product strategy while shipping updates regularly to production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain entire sections of the web application product.
Design, create, and deliver features from the user interface all the way to backend APIs and underlying infrastructure.
Help optimize and scale voice artificial intelligence infrastructure to improve overall reliability, cut costs, and reduce latency.
Collaborate closely with company founders and teammates to influence product direction.
Push updates to production frequently and iterate rapidly based on direct user feedback.

Requirements

Strong generalist background with excellence in either front-end or back-end development, plus comfort working across the entire technology stack.
Front-end proficiency utilizing TypeScript and Next.js, including clean architecture, performance optimization, and user experience design.
Back-end experience leveraging Go to construct reliable, scalable systems.
Product-minded perspective with a strong grasp of balancing tradeoffs involving speed, quality, and scale.
