Cloudflare is seeking a builder with a strong engineering background to join the Enterprise Integrations Engineering Team and help shape scalable, reliable systems.

Role Overview

Cloudflare's Enterprise Integrations Engineering Team designs, builds, and maintains integrations across the SaaS applications used throughout the organization. The position involves evaluating where LLMs, agents, or automation layers can replace brittle point-to-point logic and speed up development. Team members work collaboratively, value continuous learning, and support each other through shared ownership and open communication.

Key Responsibilities

Take integration work from concept through implementation, handling requirements, technical specs, development, testing, and deployment.
Identify where AI and LLM-based approaches like agentic workflows, automated triage, and code generation can improve integration design, delivery speed, or operational support.
Build and extend internal AI tooling, such as agents, skills, MCP servers, and automation scripts, that support the team's engineering and business-as-usual workflows.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business problems into technical solutions, whether via traditional services or AI-driven systems.
Contribute to evaluating, adopting, and governing AI tooling responsibly, focusing on data handling, model choice, skills, and guardrails.
Lead larger initiatives and own integration, user interface, and model context protocol projects end-to-end as professional growth occurs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proficiency in at least one backend language, with Go strongly preferred, and Python or TypeScript also considered.
Demonstrated experience using AI and LLM tools to build real solutions, such as building an AI agent, LLM-powered automation, or shipping code with heavy AI-assisted development.
Experience working with internal stakeholders to solve business problems through integration or automation solutions.
Experience building RESTful APIs with proper service security practices.
Experience with observability tooling like Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, or Kibana.
Working familiarity with containerized and cloud environments, including Kubernetes or equivalent cloud-native experience.
Experience with a serverless computing platform such as AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions, or Cloudflare Workers.
Experience with GitLab or other CI/CD tooling.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with 10+ engineers.

Nice to Have

Experience with LLM APIs from providers like Anthropic and OpenAI.
Experience with prompt engineering, evaluations, or AI guardrail and governance practices.
Experience with business systems such as Oracle or NetSuite.
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment with familiarity in Jira and Confluence.
Familiarity with integration patterns including pub/sub, API-first, CDM, and batch processing.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Experience with the Cloudflare Developer Platform, including Workers, Workflows, and D1.
