Role Overview

This opening is for an experienced software engineer to join the Core Infrastructure group based in Toronto, Canada. The professional hired will drive the organization's multi-region expansion and take complete ownership of critical infrastructure systems like Kubernetes and AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Drive global multi-cell architectures to support multi-region expansion.
Take end-to-end accountability for infrastructure pieces, spanning Kubernetes platforms, AI infrastructure, deployment pipelines, observability, and cost optimization.
Lead the architecture, deployment, and operation of highly scalable systems.
Collaborate closely with fellow engineers to support the company's product roadmap.

Requirements

A minimum of four years of professional software engineering background.
Demonstrated history of independently launching and running large-scale infrastructure or platforms.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline such as Physics or Mathematics.

Nice to Have

Practical experience managing large-scale platforms using AWS, Datadog, Kubernetes, and open-source tools like Redis, Celery, DBOS, and Docling.
Proven ability to coordinate effectively with team members across different time zones.

Salary and Benefits

Compensation for IC3 level ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 CAD per year.
Compensation for IC4 level ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 CAD per year.
Compensation for IC5 level ranges from $200,000 to $250,000 CAD per year.
Compensation for IC6 level ranges from $250,000 to $290,000 CAD per year.
