Role Overview

The GTM Engineer operates as a hybrid of a GTM operator, hands-on builder, and automation architect within the Business Technology Team. This position focuses primarily on the presales motion, ranging from BDRs through AEs. The goal is to integrate AI into daily sales operations, measured by rep time saved and pipeline growth, while designing the technical foundation that makes the revenue team more effective.

Key Responsibilities

Build the GTM automation engine by designing scalable, high-velocity workflows that enrich data, route accounts, and trigger personalized outreach using tools like Clay and n8n.
Translate sales leadership goals into actionable projects, partnering in planning before decisions are finalized.
Operationalize AI and enrichment tools alongside GTM Ops and Business Technology teams to enhance outbound quality and personalization through Salesforce, Gong, Clay, and other systems.
Own workflows completely from scoping and building to piloting with sales representatives, launching, and iterating based on adoption and impact.
Track metrics such as pipeline influenced, rep time saved, and adoption rates to measure success.
Innovate and experiment by testing new tools, integrations, and AI workflows while deciding whether to build or buy.

Requirements

Total of 4 or more years of experience in a mix of GTM engineering, sales operations, RevOps, or business systems, ideally in a fast-moving B2B SaaS environment.
Preferred background of 1 to 2 years working directly as a BDR, SDR, AE, sales engineer, or equivalent.
Working experience with Salesforce, along with strongly preferred hands-on experience in Clay and Gong or Chorus (n8n, Zapier, or similar workflow orchestration is a plus).
Comfort building with AI coding tools like Claude Code and ability to read enough code and SQL to ship and debug builds.
Understanding of databases, structured data, and data warehouses such as Snowflake.
Proven ability to learn systems quickly, apply emerging technology to traditional challenges, and build reliable automations for a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for structuring memos and presenting to executives.
High bias for action, low ego, and an ownership mindset in uncharted territory.
