The Software Engineer, ARC Team role sits within the Public Sector Engineering division at Scale AI. The work involves building internal command-line interfaces and tools that standardize testing, environment management, and deployments while eliminating downstream breakages. Team members re-architect the software stack to execute smoothly within compliant, restrictive, or air-gapped settings by designing swappable authentication, storage, and logging components.

What are the salary ranges for this role?
Base salaries vary by location: $184,000 to $259,440 for San Francisco and New York; $165,600 to $233,496 for Washington, DC; and $138,000 to $194,580 for St. Louis.
