Role Overview

In this position, leadership centers on guiding a newly formed, autonomous team dedicated to building agentic tooling across the entire software development lifecycle. The mission begins with autonomous coding agents capable of handling tickets, writing code, and generating pull requests. The chosen manager will shape how every engineer at the company builds and ships software.

Key Responsibilities

Direct a team of platform engineers to deliver high-quality, innovative agentic SDLC platforms.
Coordinate with engineering leadership and platform groups to plan and build infrastructure for autonomous coding agents.
Mentor and grow developers, cultivating expertise in agent frameworks, platform engineering, and developer tooling.
Define clear objectives, deliver constructive feedback, and guide the team toward successful delivery.
Promote engineering excellence, focusing on CI/CD pipelines, containerized setups, monitoring, and agent orchestration.
Report on progress, metrics, and risks to senior leadership, tracking adoption rates and quality standards.
Work alongside recruiting and peer managers to scale and onboard a high-performing platform team.

Requirements

At least four years of software development management experience leading platform, infrastructure, or developer experience teams.
Solid technical background in containerization, CI/CD, distributed systems, and developer tools.
Proven capabilities in technical design, project management, and complex problem-solving.
Genuine enthusiasm for coaching, hiring, and nurturing diverse engineering talent.
Clear communication abilities for translating complex concepts across various technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Practical familiarity with large language model agent frameworks, Model Context Protocol tooling, or agentic coding infrastructure.
Prior experience shipping an AI coding agent or driving a developer experience initiative that measurably boosted engineering throughput.

Salary and Benefits

Base compensation ranges from $150,000 to $265,000 USD per year. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses, commissions, and equity. U.S. employees have access to comprehensive Autodesk benefits, while international perks vary by region.
