Working specifically within the Applied Foundations group, the person in this role will own full-cycle leadership searches for engineering managers and senior leaders. Responsibilities include defining role scopes, partnering with stakeholders, and closing complex offers for key talent.
Success in the position requires substantial technical recruiting experience, executive search or in-house leadership recruiting backgrounds, and the ability to build immediate credibility with accomplished engineering leaders.
What you will do
- Lead full-cycle searches for engineering managers and senior engineering leaders across the Applied Foundations team.
- Partner with hiring leaders to define role scope, leadership expectations, and technical requirements.
- Develop targeted search strategies using direct sourcing, referrals, and market research.
- Engage passive leadership candidates through outreach and conversations about their experience and potential impact.
- Advise senior stakeholders using market intelligence and search evidence to adjust hiring approaches when necessary.
- Manage complex closing strategies by navigating competing opportunities, equity considerations, and counteroffers.
What you need
- Bring substantial technical recruiting experience with a track record of owning and closing engineering leadership searches.
- Possess experience in executive search, in-house leadership recruiting, or a comparable environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to evaluate leadership scope beyond titles and partner with hiring managers on organizational impact.
- Build credibility with senior engineering leaders and offer clear recommendations with constructive pushback.
- Manage complex offers while understanding compensation, role scope, and personal motivations.
