Role Overview

Teleport operates as an AI infrastructure identity company that provides cryptographically secured identities for humans, machines, workloads, and AI agents. The Senior Solutions Engineer partners with account executives to drive revenue growth through technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value engagements. This remote position within the United Kingdom or Ireland involves working closely with sophisticated technology companies to address infrastructure and security challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to expand technical discovery and map capabilities to customer initiatives.
Architect and deliver demos and proof-of-concepts highlighting Zero Trust principles, identity governance, and identity security.
Act as a trusted advisor to engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, and security leaders.
Advise on protecting sensitive datasets and model endpoints with identity-based controls and eliminating static tokens.
Support customers exploring artificial intelligence and large language model use cases, including secure training and inference workloads.
Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams on feature gaps and market needs.
Collaborate with marketing on thought leadership, participate in go-to-market activities, and travel to conferences or meetups.

Requirements

Five or more years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, DevSecOps, or a related technical customer-facing role.
Experience configuring, using, and debugging Linux machines and network issues.
Strong understanding and hands-on troubleshooting experience with Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of at least one cloud computing platform.
Understanding of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure security at scale.
Advanced understanding of identity security and modern Zero Trust security approaches.
Ability to develop scripts and automation using Linux shell, Go, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence and large language model infrastructure and associated security requirements.
