The Senior Solutions Architect, APJC (Developer Platform) - India Market role at Cloudflare involves shaping and leading regional technical strategy for customer and partner engagements across the APJC region, focusing heavily on clients based in India. This senior, individual-contributor position is ideal for an experienced technical professional who enjoys a balance of hands-on architecture, executive collaboration, and regional technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Shape technical strategy for Developer Platform customers and partners across the region.
Transform business, application, security, and operational requirements into secure, scalable, and highly maintainable architectures on Cloudflare.
Partner with engineering executives and senior stakeholders to advise on application modernization, distributed systems, AI architecture, and platform strategy.
Lead architecture discovery sessions, technical workshops, proofs of concept, design reviews, and production-readiness discussions.
Establish reference architectures, architectural standards, and governance patterns that empower customers and the broader APJC field organization.
Build, review, and troubleshoot representative applications and integrations.
Serve as a Developer Platform technical leader through presentations, written guidance, and internal enablement.
Support and mentor fellow solutions architects and technical colleagues navigating complex customer engagements.
Build effective feedback loops between customers, field teams, and product leaders to translate regional needs into product recommendations.

Requirements

Professional fluency in English and a major language spoken in India, with the ability to lead technical and executive discussions in both languages.
Strong background in solutions architecture, software engineering, technical consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role.
Track record of owning complex technical strategies involving developers, infrastructure teams, security stakeholders, and senior executives.
Deep working knowledge of distributed application architecture including compute, storage, networking, security, reliability, and observability.
Software-development experience, including building or reviewing production-quality applications and proofs of concept.
Strong understanding of modern web technologies, serverless and cloud-native architectures, software-delivery practices, and at least one major public cloud platform.
Proven ability to influence without direct authority, mentor colleagues, and turn individual solutions into shared organizational capabilities.
Excellent written, presentation, and facilitation skills tailored for developer, architectural, and executive audiences.
Ability to travel up to 30%, primarily within APJC and India.

Nice to Have

Experience building and operating production applications on Cloudflare’s Developer Platform.
Experience designing AI inference, agentic, retrieval-augmented generation, or data-intensive applications.
Familiarity with customers, technology partners, or developer communities in India.
Background in public speaking, technical writing, open-source contribution, or community building.
Relevant cloud or architecture certifications.
A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
