Write comprehensive technical designs for major initiatives and help guide architectural decisions alongside engineering management and peer senior developers.
Integrate automated testing, robust observability, and continuous operational ownership into every delivery stage.
Elevate team code standards through detailed code reviews, mentoring, and contributions to shared patterns.
Resolve cross-stack technical issues proactively to maintain system stability, performance, and scalability.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident management, translating production issues into long-term architectural fixes.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools responsibly according to internal corporate standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience building and operating production-grade systems featuring user-facing APIs.
Strong full-stack foundation encompassing backend TypeScript and Node.js with REST or GraphQL API design, alongside modern frontend development in React and Next.js.
Demonstrated experience operating distributed systems, including event-driven architectures, message queues, eventual consistency, and concurrency management.
Solid database fundamentals utilizing PostgreSQL or SQL Server, covering schema design, indexing, migrations, and query optimization.
A production-focused mindset emphasizing logging, metrics, tracing, on-call participation, and full delivery ownership.
Exceptional communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to cross-functional partners in Product, Design, and QA.

Nice to Have

Background working within financial technology or heavily regulated industries where precision and regulatory standards dictate engineering choices.
Practical experience handling payment gateways, billing infrastructures, or user identity and authentication services.
Hands-on familiarity with AWS, container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or Argo CD.
Proven ability to leverage AI developer tools while maintaining strict standards for code health.
