Role Overview

The Senior Software Engineer, Conversational Intelligence role at Aircall involves building and operating critical conversational features at the Madrid Office. This opportunity suits an experienced back-end professional who wants to design resilient software for an AI-powered customer communications platform.

Key Responsibilities

Build, test, monitor, and deploy production code independently and reliably.
Partner with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions for customer problems.
Design secure, scalable systems with the team and take accountability for proper execution.
Gain deep business insights to offer practical solutions that serve users and clients effectively.
Mentor engineering peers and champion technical growth across development teams.
Research and adopt modern technologies and architectures with sound technical judgment.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of back-end development experience utilizing TypeScript and Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Rails.
Strong focus on application security, scalability, availability, and high performance.
Extensive hands-on experience working with AWS in a live production environment.
Ability to design and deploy high-volume and high-availability services utilizing Amazon infrastructure.
Appreciation for code simplicity, high quality, and maintainability.
Proactive and effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to Have

Previous experience working on frontend applications, particularly using React.
