Role Overview

AlphaSense is looking for a domain expert to own how intelligence appears across curated experiences in an AI-first world. Whether transitioning from a Product Manager role or a Senior Analyst position at a top-tier hedge fund, the ideal candidate brings approximately five years of buy-side experience. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, Search and Curated Experiences, this individual will take full ownership of company profiles, industry profiles, monitoring tools, and future product surfaces, ensuring high credibility and accuracy for professional investors.

Key Responsibilities

Own curated product surfaces from concept through launch and iteration, acting as the single accountable owner.
Lead with taste and quality by designing, testing, and refining experiences to meet the high standards of professional investors.
Translate deep knowledge of buy-side workflows—such as earnings analysis and monitoring—into intuitive product strategies.
Analyze market trends and competitor moves to identify product gaps and opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the Search platform team, Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing to bridge technical capability and business value.
Continuously test tools against real-world investment scenarios to drive improvements in accuracy and speed.

Requirements

Three to five years of direct experience working as an Analyst or Associate at a top-tier hedge fund.
Strong grasp of Generative AI, including familiarity with prompt engineering and an understanding of large language model limitations.
Visionary mindset to visualize required functionalities and leverage AI to streamline tedious processes.
Proven ability to operate autonomously as an end-to-end owner from idea to launch.
Creative builder experience, having personally built or shipped a prototype, automation, model, or app.
Clear communication skills capable of explaining complex financial concepts to technical teams.
Adaptability and resilience to transition from market positions to user problem-solving.
