Writing advanced SQL queries, reviewing code, designing dashboards, and evaluating models form the daily routine in this role at Everpure in Bangalore. Serving as a hands-on leader, this person owns the data, analytics, and AI portfolio end to end while directly guiding the developers, analysts, and data scientists who build these products. Engagement spans requirements sessions, data model reviews, and stakeholder negotiations to turn ambiguous business problems into a prioritized, scalable roadmap measured by actual adoption and business outcomes rather than backlog size.
Success in this position requires a blend of technical depth across SQL, Python, and cloud data warehouses alongside sophisticated stakeholder management and a strong design sensibility for visualization. What you will do
- Manage a talented team of senior and junior developers, analysts, and data scientists while setting engineering standards and mentoring individuals toward career growth.
- Serve as the primary interface to different organizations by running structured discovery to translate business questions into testable specifications.
- Prioritize data, reporting, and analytics requirements using a consistent framework based on value, effort, risk, and strategic fit.
- Define and enforce visualization standards across the portfolio to ensure products look and behave consistently.
- Write, review, optimize, and debug complex analytical queries independently using advanced SQL.
- Identify and prioritize use cases where machine learning and generative AI create genuine business value.
- Define success metrics for every product and lead enablement through documentation, training, and change management.
What you need
- Possess 15 or more years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or data platform roles, including a minimum of 4 years directly managing teams.
- Demonstrate ownership of an enterprise data, BI, or analytics portfolio from requirements through production adoption with clear business impact.
- Bring advanced SQL skills with the ability to write, review, optimize, and debug complex analytical queries independently, alongside deep experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
- Show knowledge of Python, including package development and production-quality code standards.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with enterprise BI and semantic layer tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or ThoughtSpot.
- Exhibit strong data visualization craft with a genuine design sensibility covering layout, typography, purposeful color, and accessibility.

- An advanced degree in statistics, data science, or computer science
- Domain expertise in finance, customer, or product, with strong preference for CRM and ERP datasets

What is the remote work policy for this role?
Everpure is primarily an in-office environment. Employees are expected to work from the Bengaluru office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
