Role Overview

Everpure is hiring a Data Engineer to support its data platform and artificial intelligence enablement initiatives in Prague, Czech Republic. The professional in this role will collaborate with senior engineering staff to construct reliable data pipelines, manage metadata, and establish data lineage for self-service analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Design, test, and deploy resilient data pipelines into Snowflake utilizing Python Snowpark and Apache NiFi.
Integrate automated metadata generation, data lineage tracking, and explicit ownership definitions into pipeline workflows.
Transform raw data into structured assets using SQL and assist with scalable dimensional modeling for business intelligence and artificial intelligence tasks.
Track pipeline performance, refine complex database queries, and adjust Snowflake warehouse settings for efficient data retrieval.
Partner with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to connect raw information sources with user-facing datasets.

Requirements

Possess one to three years of practical background in data engineering, data warehousing, or data-focused software development.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with or willingness to learn Snowflake Snowpark.
Apply practical knowledge of Apache NiFi for system mediation, data routing, and transformation.
Show solid working familiarity with advanced SQL, relational databases, and cloud data warehouses.
Understand data modeling concepts, performance tuning, query optimization, and data governance principles.
Work from the Prague office in alignment with company policies.
