Role Overview

MongoDB is hiring a Senior Manager for AI and People Transformation to operate at the intersection of human resources strategy, workflow architecture, and artificial intelligence technologies. In this full-time role, the professional will challenge conventional human resources practices, develop low-code and artificial intelligence solutions, and assess build-versus-buy strategies alongside the information technology department.

Key Responsibilities

Translate high-level strategy into operating rhythms, directing transformation and artificial intelligence projects to simplify operations and build scalable capacity.
Design end-to-end workflow transformations that integrate artificial intelligence, automation, self-service, and enterprise platforms.
Translate complex business problems into technical requirements, experiments, and cross-departmental implementation plans.
Prototype and test solutions rapidly using artificial intelligence and low-code or no-code platforms to establish standards.
Partner with People Team leaders and functional experts to align resources, establish priorities, and execute high-value initiatives.
Collaborate with information technology leadership to guide systems design and evaluate build-versus-buy choices.
Create reusable capabilities across human resources workflows to improve performance and scale enterprise operations.
Establish metrics to monitor operational impact, process performance, capacity growth, and user experience.
Build practical frameworks and toolkits that enable cross-functional teams to apply artificial intelligence capabilities.

Requirements

Ten or more years of professional experience, including at least eight years of progressive leadership within transformation, operations, strategy, or consulting, ideally in human resources or technology environments.
Background in consulting, program management, or product management connecting business and technical teams.
Understanding of artificial intelligence and automation with the ability to turn emerging capabilities into practical business solutions.
Builder mindset featuring experience with prototyping, experimentation, and rapidly testing new operational approaches.
Systems thinking and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex cross-functional challenges.
Capacity to influence senior executives and align teams around a shared vision without direct authority.

Base salary range of $115,000 to $198,000 USD for United States-based candidates
