Role Overview

Gong is seeking a Senior Director of Platform Security to lead the engineering of security infrastructure based in Tel Aviv. This position is well-suited for an experienced security leader looking to shape the future of AI-driven revenue intelligence platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Direct the comprehensive end-to-end security strategy encompassing application security, cloud environments across AWS and Azure, and platform layers.
Manage a unified security engineering division that covers AppSec, SecDevOps, and AI security leadership while mentoring high-performing teams.
Oversee the platform security domain ranging from Layer 7 protections and AWS architecture to automated risk scoring and AI-assisted workflows.
Integrate security controls like web application firewalls and rate limiting directly into the software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
Lead the organizational AI strategy by enabling secure platform product use and scaling AI security governance.
Drive scalable infrastructure security evolutions including Kubernetes, container environments, identity and access management, and Zero Trust architectures.
Execute the vulnerability management program from initial discovery through remediation tracking alongside managing external bug bounty programs.

Requirements

Bring ten or more years of professional experience in security or software engineering with a history of scaling departments in rapid-growth research and development settings.
Demonstrate deep technical architecture expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, modern platform security, Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, and secure coding languages like Java, Python, and TypeScript.
