Senior Customer Engineer, Named - Toronto Canada
About this role
Builders who value curiosity over bureaucracy and see AI as a partner in solving tough problems will thrive in this environment. Cloudflare is on a mission to help build a better Internet by operating one of the world's largest networks that powers millions of websites and online properties. This role exists to serve as a trusted technical advisor and primary architect of the customer journey, bridging the gap between technical strategy and business value for enterprise clients. The person in this position will work directly within the go-to-market organization, operating as a quota-carrying technologist who leverages AI-augmented workflows to eliminate administrative toil and focus on high-value architectural design.
Team members focus on technical validation, guiding customer adoption, ensuring commercial accountability, and orchestrating AI workflows. Day-to-day work involves leading technical deep-dive discovery, mapping complex customer infrastructure like DNS, CDN, and Zero Trust, designing structured migration blueprints, and leading technical quarterly business reviews. Ideal candidates possess an architectural mindset, strong consultative skills, and a proven track record in a customer-facing technical role.
What you will do
- Partner closely with Account Executives to lead technical deep-dive discovery and map complex customer infrastructure to fit-for-purpose Cloudflare architectures.
