Role Overview

Operating within the go-to-market organization, this quota-carrying technologist utilizes AI-augmented workflows to eliminate administrative tasks, allowing full focus on high-value architectural design and business outcomes. The position is available in Minnesota and involves partnering closely with Account Executives to shape customer journeys across Cloudflare's extensive product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, construct bespoke architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts across security, networking, and developer platforms.
Oversee technical onboarding and implementation while serving as the primary executive and engineering contact for customers.
Monitor dynamic customer health scores and telemetry data to secure rapid time-to-value and eliminate integration bottlenecks.
Carry a variable quota tied directly to new business acquisition, revenue retention, and account expansion.
Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews to translate platform capabilities into tangible return on investment for C-level executives.
Act as an AI-augmented engineer by leveraging AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine tasks like RFP responses and sandbox provisioning.

Requirements

Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
Broad technical expertise covering web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
Proven track record in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned commercial environment with an understanding of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management abilities to bridge deep technical details with C-suite business strategies.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience building or architecting solutions using Cloudflare's developer platform and AI ecosystem, including Workers AI, AI Gateway, and Vectorize.
Applied knowledge in prompt engineering, Large Language Model orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript for custom integration scripts, API connectors, and edge computing functions.
