Key Responsibilities

Partner directly with Account Executives to conduct technical discovery, build custom architectures, and deliver product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts across networking, security, and developer platforms.
Oversee technical onboarding and implementation while tracking telemetry and customer health scores to accelerate time-to-value.
Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition, account growth, revenue retention, and up-sell opportunities.
Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews to communicate platform return on investment to C-level executives.
Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the complete customer lifecycle.
Utilize AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine administrative duties such as security questionnaires, sandbox provisioning, and RFP responses.

Requirements

Professional background in a customer-facing technical position such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
Broad technical competence covering cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, web security, and networking topics including DNS, routing, and DDoS mitigation.
Demonstrated success working in a revenue-aligned or quota-carrying environment with knowledge of SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills that bridge deep technical details with C-suite business strategies.

Nice to Have

Hands-on background building or architecting solutions with Cloudflare's developer platform and AI ecosystem, including Workers AI, Vectorize, and AI Gateway.
Applied AI knowledge involving prompt engineering, Large Language Model orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.
Coding or scripting proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or related languages to create API connectors, custom integration scripts, and edge computing functions.
