Role Overview

This position calls for an ambitious engineer who enjoys tackling hard technical challenges like distributed systems, performance, scalability, and AI orchestration. The person in this role will design production-grade Python services, balance clean architecture with startup pragmatism, and incorporate modern agentic patterns into production workflows. Collaborating closely with product managers, founders, and AI engineers, the software specialist will help construct the intelligence layer behind an autonomous sales operating system.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement production-grade Python services using clean architecture and solid engineering practices.
Architect scalable, distributed systems relying on Domain-Driven Design principles.
Integrate with external software-as-a-service systems including CRMs, dialers, meeting tools, and OAuth providers.
Optimize performance, latency, cost, and reliability across AI-driven systems.
Build and orchestrate large language model powered agents focusing on planning, reasoning, tool usage, and memory.
Develop internal frameworks for managing agent coordination, tool execution, memory layers, and event-driven workflows.
Partner with AI engineers, product teams, and founders to turn complex sales workflows into autonomous processes.
Utilize AI coding assistants effectively and experiment with AI-augmented development workflows.

Requirements

Seven or more years of strong backend engineering experience.
Advanced Python expertise encompassing async programming, typing, architecture patterns, and testing.
Demonstrated experience designing scalable distributed systems with clean, high-quality code focused on maintainability.
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, which is preferred, or Amazon Web Services.
Mindset driven by building reasoning systems, leveraging AI coding assistants, and thriving in fast-paced environments with high ownership.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and stay connected to user problems.
Fluency in English is required.
