Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer within the Creators group, the chosen professional will design and maintain an ecosystem that empowers community developers to publish, monetize, and scale their AI tools. The position involves joining either the Publishers team—focusing on monetization logic, analytics, and quality control—or the Billing team, which handles payout infrastructure and the emerging agentic payment economy. Team members work in agile two-week sprints, deploy code daily, and use the platform regularly to understand user needs.

Key Responsibilities

Take charge of features and projects from initial discovery through to production deployment.
Develop the backend systems and tools that creators depend on for publishing and growing their applications.
Collaborate inside a small, cross-functional team with a focus on daily deployment.
Contribute regularly to open-source initiatives and public repositories.
Design and scale billing systems or publishing logic that directly supports community earnings.

Requirements

Three or more years of professional experience creating backend systems and APIs.
Strong coding and debugging expertise using TypeScript and Node.js, or proven fluency in another language with the ability to transition quickly.
Practical, day-to-day experience using AI tools and a commitment to keeping pace with industry innovations.
Collaborative attitude focused on experimentation and problem-solving.
Professional proficiency in English communication.
Ability to meet location requirements, which include flexibility for occasional office visits in Prague or Brno depending on the assigned team.

Nice to Have

Experience contributing to open-source projects or building developer platforms.
Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools like Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
