Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer focusing on billing, the professional will drive the financial backbone that handles creator payouts and subscription workflows. Operating within the Creators group, the successful candidate will ensure that substantial monthly funds efficiently reach hundreds of developers while maintaining reliable payment processing for global platform users. This position offers the flexibility of working fully from home within Czechia or from the offices in Prague or Brno.

Key Responsibilities

Own software projects completely from initial discovery phases through production deployment.
Construct core infrastructure that manages creator payouts, subscription handling, and invoice generation.
Create systems supporting the emerging agentic payment economy.
Operate inside a small cross-functional team utilizing two-week sprints and daily deployments.
Utilize internal platform tools daily to refine features for fellow developers.
Contribute regularly to open-source initiatives hosted on GitHub.

Requirements

Three or more years of professional experience designing backend systems and APIs.
Strong coding and debugging expertise in TypeScript and Node.js, or the capability to rapidly transition from another language.
Practical familiarity with artificial intelligence tools during routine daily tasks.
Collaborative approach focused on experimentation and rapid iteration.
Solid technical background accompanied by a strong professional track record.
Proficiency in English for effective team communication.
