Role Overview

monday.com seeks a Senior AI Software Engineer to join the Work Experience group in Tel Aviv. The position focuses on creating core workspace products and developing AI agent experiences that serve numerous customers globally.

Key Responsibilities

Construct new artificial intelligence products from initial concept to release and iterate according to user feedback.
Develop features across the entire technology stack to deliver engaging user interactions.
Direct and contribute to architectural choices during the scaling of multiple product lines.
Manage features completely through design, building, deployment, and monitoring phases.
Collaborate with product and design professionals to define user workflows and speed up delivery.
Maintain high standards of engineering excellence, system reliability, and performance.
Establish development standards for artificial intelligence product creation.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of professional software engineering background with full-stack application development skills.
Advanced proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Background in developing features incorporating large language models or similar artificial intelligence technologies.
Utilization of testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, and Cypress.
Practical use of cloud infrastructure including Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services, continuous integration and deployment, and monitoring tools.
Understanding of scalability and performance tuning across client and server environments.
Communication abilities, teamwork perspective, and interpersonal empathy.

Nice to Have

Practical history creating large language model workflows and writing evaluations to assess model performance.
Background utilizing vector embeddings and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
Exposure to product discovery, fast prototyping, or startup settings.
