Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee content curation, design management, publisher partnerships, and distribution stakeholders from the Tokyo office. This position involves collaborating closely with headquarters to drive publishing automation, analyze performance metrics, and optimize the overall content mix. The individual will present content data to distribution partners such as SBKK and Sharp while maintaining high standards of quality across the product.

Key Responsibilities

Master AI automation and content creation tools to produce high volumes of quality content aligned with established strategies.
Maintain publishing schedules to ensure the regularity and quality of all output.
Translate direction from internal stakeholders into actionable plans and mentor junior team members.
Manage end-to-end projects by planning timelines, allocating resources, tracking progress, and ensuring on-time delivery.
Identify operational bottlenecks and risks, driving process enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
Coordinate cross-market and cross-functional stakeholders to keep complex deliverables on track.
Partner with the design team to guarantee market-suited aesthetics that follow design guidelines.
Analyze performance metrics, uncover growth opportunities, and execute rapid improvement cycles.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Native-level proficiency in Japanese.
Strong project management mindset with proven ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects, timelines, and cross-functional partners.
Keen interest in digital content, emerging trends, and strict adherence to content regulations and guidelines.
High comfort level with working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to function effectively as a collaborative team player.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.

Nice to Have

Proficiency in English.
Experience collaborating with designers and outsourcing partners.
Background in content automation and AI-generated content (AIGC) creation.
