Role Overview

Scale AI is establishing a dedicated technical enablement function to support its growing customer-facing engineering teams. As the Program Manager, Technical Enablement, you will design the entire enablement lifecycle from the ground up, ensuring engineers ramp quickly, maintain an authoritative knowledge base, and stay continuously updated. Operating within the Enablement organization, you will partner closely with engineering leadership, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Delivery teams to drive readiness and program effectiveness across the board.

Key Responsibilities

Build and launch a structured, role-based onboarding program for new engineering hires to achieve meaningful technical contribution within their first 30 days.
Audit, consolidate, and govern the authoritative technical knowledge base to eliminate fragmentation and maintain current documentation.
Develop a recurring enablement cadence, including live sessions, async updates, and release summaries, to keep tenured engineers sharp on new capabilities.
Identify readiness gaps through feedback loops with managers and new hires, creating targeted content to resolve them.
Serve as the embedded enablement partner to leadership, managing multiple concurrent programs with clear milestones and reporting on outcomes.

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience in enablement, program management, technical training, or a related role.
2+ years of program management experience with a track record of launching programs from scratch in fast-paced environments.
Experience supporting technical teams, engineers, or solutions engineers at a B2B technology company.
Strong knowledge management instincts with a history of building or improving documentation systems.
Comfort navigating technical content, reading architecture documents, and collaborating with engineers to fix outdated details.
Excellent written communication skills and proficiency with AI tools for content creation and workflow automation.

Nice to Have

Background in developer tools, AI/ML platforms, or technical product environments geared toward technical practitioners.
Experience building LMS-based learning paths or structured onboarding curricula for technical audiences.
Familiarity with tiered instructional design or adult learning principles applied to technical content.
Prior experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, or Delivery teams to systematize institutional knowledge.
Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed company building programs without pre-existing infrastructure.

Salary and Benefits

Eligible full-time positions located in San Francisco, New York, or Seattle feature a base salary range of $128,000 to $160,000 USD, with final compensation determined by location, experience, skills, and interview performance. Eligible roles may also receive equity compensation subject to board approval. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement benefits, learning and development stipends, commuter stipends, and generous paid time off.
