Role Overview

Scale AI is expanding its Global Public Sector team to design, execute, and foster strategic partnerships with governments and government-backed organizations. The person in this position will own large artificial intelligence projects, guiding cross-functional teams of engineers, machine learning engineers, and operators. The work involves developing bespoke AI solutions and custom large language models that leverage proprietary data to transform public sector workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design workshops with clients to define and shape custom artificial intelligence solutions.
Scope out new artificial intelligence application use cases across various government bodies.
Direct cross-functional development involving engineering, operations, and go-to-market stakeholders.
Engage continuously with end-users to gather feedback and prioritize feature development effectively.
Monitor applied artificial intelligence research and custom model training to keep solutions cutting-edge.
Define model evaluation sets, review performance requirements, and iterate on deployed solutions.
Provide regular progress reports to international leadership and clients.

Requirements

Bring four or more years of product building experience, including recent experience within the last one to two years focused specifically on artificial intelligence products.
Possess a strong technical background, which can include a STEM degree or hands-on experience building technical software products.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of generative artificial intelligence technologies and their practical applications.
Exhibit exceptional leadership, presentation, and communication skills to influence cross-functional teams.
Maintain a mission-driven mindset paired with a deep curiosity for building impactful artificial intelligence applications.

Nice to Have

Practical coding experience utilizing Python.
Proficiency in written and spoken Arabic.
Familiarity with vibe coding tools such as Replit, Lovable, and Bolt, along with design software like Figma, Canva, and Miro.
