Cohere is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the creation and growth of its managed offering in Toronto, with remote work flexibility available. Role Overview

This high-leverage position requires owning the development of Cohere's managed offering. The successful candidate will guide strategy, lead execution for a self-serve version of North, and forge partnerships with go-to-market teams to establish a brand-new revenue stream.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the product roadmap and strategy for managed North while balancing immediate customer needs with long-term platform goals.
Collaborate closely with go-to-market teams to test assumptions, validate market demand, and ensure seamless production operations.
Engage directly with developers and customers to surface integration challenges and unmet needs.
Establish success metrics centered around platform health and developer experience, leading initiatives to improve performance.
Partner alongside engineering, research, technical writing, and developer relations to deliver and document platform enhancements.

Requirements

Bring at least five years of product management experience, with a solid background owning a B2B SaaS product.
Demonstrate a history of treating infrastructure as a product by translating system-level capabilities into distinct features.
Possess entrepreneurial drive and hands-on experience taking new products to market.
Understand deployment models, including multi-tenant and dedicated infrastructure.
Rely on an analytical approach by defining success metrics prior to building and utilizing both data and qualitative feedback for decisions.
Excel at collaborating across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams while explaining technical tradeoffs clearly.
Exhibit execution-oriented habits with a strong bias toward rapid shipping and iterative improvements.
Show full product lifecycle ownership from problem scoping through to launch and eventual migration.

Nice to Have

Exposure to regional compliance, data residency, or sovereignty requirements regarding cloud infrastructure or AI products.
Prior experience owning a model serving or inference platform.
Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex, along with model serving tools such as vLLM.
