Rogo is seeking a full-time Product Designer to join the team in New York City and build core product experiences for the global finance sector. This full-time position suits creative designers who want to shape enterprise artificial intelligence workflows for top investment firms.

Role Overview

As a Product Designer at Rogo, you will lead the end-to-end design of core product experiences, ranging from initial problem framing to final production polish. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Design, the CEO, and engineering teams to define the future of finance workflows. This role offers the chance to establish company-wide design standards and systems while creating software that institutional finance professionals love to use.

Key Responsibilities

Design core product experiences from problem definition through user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual design.
Partner directly with company leadership and software engineers to understand technical constraints and build exceptional products.
Help shape internal design culture, frameworks, and system standards.
Prototype rapidly using Figma, code, AI tools, or sketches to test and iterate on design ideas quickly.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards for execution and prioritization.

Requirements

Strong enthusiasm and proven dedication to solving complex product and design problems through side projects, prototypes, or experimental work.
Exceptional attention to visual detail, polish, and user delight.
Ability to ship product solutions at high velocity.
Systems-thinking mindset capable of tackling open-ended platform challenges rather than single feature flows.
Comfort knowing when to move quickly and when to invest time in deep visual refinement.
Capability to work alongside engineers, understand technical limits, and navigate HTML and CSS.
Skill as a natural prototyper who tests interactions to solve uncertainty.
Prior product design experience working in startup environments.

Nice to Have

Frontend development experience utilizing React and TailwindCSS.
Background in designing commercial or B2B software environments.
Familiarity with the financial services sector, including private equity, hedge funds, and investment banking.
Current residence in New York City or the ability to relocate.
