Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain long-term executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs across strategic accounts.
Design and facilitate executive vision-setting and architecture workshops to produce multi-year roadmaps and reference architectures.
Translate industry trends like Zero Trust, digital sovereignty, AI workload security, and cloud-to-edge migration into actionable strategies.
Guide clients throughout the entire engagement lifecycle from strategic discovery to value realization and platform expansion.
Elevate the architectural capabilities of the broader Solutions Engineering team by creating reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and internal mentorship.
Represent Cloudflare externally at industry events, executive roundtables, and sector forums as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

Minimum of 12 years of experience in technical presales, enterprise architecture, or IT leadership roles such as CTO, CISO, or Chief Architect.
Proven capability to hold boardroom-level strategy discussions while also engaging deeply with engineering teams on technical designs.
Demonstrated success in leading executive workshops and technology strategy sessions that yield measurable business outcomes.
Strong expertise in regional transformation priorities, including Zero Trust architecture, network modernisation, data residency, AI infrastructure, and scalable application performance.
Experience working with modern application architecture patterns like microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, CI/CD, and serverless or edge compute.
Excellent communication skills tailored for both executive business environments and technical deep dives.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
Knowledge of security standards including NIST SP 800-207 and ISO 27001, alongside IT risk management in regulated industries.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
Prior professional exposure within regulated sectors like financial services, government, or telecommunications, or handling complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
Experience navigating cultural and linguistic diversity across multiple markets in the Asia Pacific region.
