Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to R&D executive leadership to translate business objectives into long-term workforce strategies, organizational designs, and succession plans.
Synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative data, utilizing AI-driven insights and engagement analytics, to proactively identify trends, mitigate risks, and design predictive people solutions.
Guide leadership and teams through structural evolutions, hyper-growth scaling, and shifting business priorities while maintaining minimal disruption to engagement and output.
Partner with business leaders and People team Centers of Excellence to design high-impact initiatives centered on talent development, performance elevation, and total rewards.

Requirements

Bring 12+ years of progressive experience working on a People or HR team.
Possess at least 3+ years of direct experience operating as a principal business partner supporting complex, fast-paced corporate functions.
Demonstrate a strong track record of leading large-scale change initiatives through highly ambiguous and dynamic environments.
Exhibit high integrity, sound business acumen, and the ability to act as an empathic influencer with radical candor.

Nice to Have

Experience leveraging AI and advanced digital tooling as strategic force multipliers to enhance personal productivity, streamline operational efficiency, and uncover data-driven insights.
Demonstrated history of building scalable, enterprise-grade HR programs from the ground up within a distributed or virtual organization.

Salary and Benefits

Estimated annual salary ranges vary by location, such as $187,000 to $257,000 for SF, SJ, and Bay Area Metro based hires; $178,000 to $245,000 for Boston, specific remote states, NYC, and Washington D.C. regions; and $162,000 to $223,000 for Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, and other designated remote locations.
