About this role

Based in San Francisco, CA, this full-time Partnerships Lead role suits an experienced pipeline operator who wants to build the supply network for Alexandria. The position is hybrid with an onsite requirement of three or more days a week at the San Francisco headquarters.

Role Overview

Firecrawl seeks a builder-shaped Partnerships Lead to expand the provider network for Alexandria, a knowledge library that allows AI agents to discover sources, review content, and retrieve information. This position focuses on supply-side deal work rather than channel partnerships, requiring direct sourcing, pitching, and closing of official data providers, publishers, and research indexes. The ideal candidate spends equal time working within documentation, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and catalogs as they do on calls to ensure agents can access a trusted set of sources.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end provider pipeline by mapping required sources across categories like finance, government, research, code, commerce, and real estate, prioritizing them by agent demand.
Source, pitch, and close data providers, publishers, research organizations, and first-party sources from initial cold outreach to signed agreements.
Structure deals independently, determining licensing terms, pricing per call, revenue share, attribution, and usage rights alongside the legal team.
Guide signed providers through onboarding to active catalog listings in collaboration with the Alexandria engineering team.
Develop the self-serve contributor program playbook to allow individuals and organizations to join seamlessly.
Relay provider feedback regarding agent capability demands, catalog gaps, and source value back into the product.
Monitor data-licensing and agent-tooling markets to identify upcoming sourcing opportunities.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or content and data licensing, accompanied by a record of personally sourced, negotiated, and signed deals.
Proven ability to operate a pipeline by sourcing, pitching, and closing deals independently while managing an active CRM and tracking conversion metrics.
Comfort negotiating price and deal structure during initial calls without requiring legal presence for every term.
AI-native workflow habits that incorporate agents and coding tools into daily research, pipelines, and follow-ups.
High urgency with a practice of same-day follow-ups and rapid loop closing.
Market curiosity demonstrated by reviewing provider documentation, pricing pages, and public licensing records prior to outreach.
Clear communication skills characterized by concise emails, focused calls, transparent status updates, and actionable blocker reports.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
