Role Overview

Firecrawl seeks a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the financial architecture, capital strategy, pricing economics, and board relationships for a rapidly expanding artificial intelligence infrastructure organization. Operating from the San Francisco headquarters on a hybrid schedule, this individual reports directly to the chief executive officer and partners closely with the leadership team to manage usage-based revenue models and compute costs. Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain the operating model tracking revenue, margins, headcount, and cash flow for founders and the board of directors.
Manage pricing economics covering credits, prepaid plans, pay-as-you-go options, enterprise contracts, and discount authorities.
Direct the deployment of Series B capital and assist with future fundraising rounds, building models, data rooms, and diligence materials.
Treat inference and token usage as a direct profit and loss line item, evaluating compute costs and returns.
Establish accounting, revenue recognition for usage-based models, audits, investor reporting, tax, treasury, and equity administration.

Requirements

Bring four or more years of professional experience, including a background as a CFO or VP of Finance at a venture-backed company through a priced funding round and subsequent growth.
Demonstrate proficiency as an advanced user of artificial intelligence tools in daily workflows.
Possess hands-on capability to build financial models independently and manage day-one accounting tasks without an initial team.
Act as a strategic partner to the chief executive officer during fundraising processes, managing data rooms and diligence.
Understand usage-based revenue models, variable costs of goods sold, and compute economics from first principles.
