The Partner Applied AI Engineer team works closely with systems integrators and enterprise customers to ensure the safe and effective deployment of generative applications. Team members act as trusted technical advisors, helping global organizations transform operations through customer service automation, content generation, and new model integrations.
Daily responsibilities involve embedding with systems integrators to identify high-value use cases, building hands-on prototypes, and defining architectural patterns that accelerate deployment timelines. Professionals in this position collaborate cross-functionally with sales, solutions engineering, product, and applied research units while helping partners achieve long-term self-sufficiency. The function exists to scale AI adoption responsibly, requiring candidates who combine strong programming abilities with a collaborative, humble attitude toward client enablement.
What you will do
- Embed directly with systems integrators as a technical thought partner to ideate and build novel API applications for enterprise customers.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify high-value generative use cases and establish a comprehensive backlog supporting the AI roadmap.
- Accelerate time to value by developing hands-on prototypes and delivering strategic architectural guidance.
- Forge and manage ongoing relationships with partners to ensure successful deployment and scaling of applications.
- Codify solution packages and architectural patterns to streamline future implementations.
- Lead initial technical support efforts and mentor partner teams toward self-sufficiency in delivering solutions.
- Contribute resources to open-source repositories and share knowledge to scale the partner solutions architecture function.
- Gather and synthesize high-signal feedback to inform product and research teams.
What you need
- Bring over 8 years of technical consulting or equivalent experience managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations.
- Demonstrate a track record of leading complex technical projects and programs involving numerous stakeholders.
- Possess industry experience utilizing programming languages such as Python or Javascript.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience leading complex implementations of generative AI or traditional machine learning solutions.
- Show a history of building or delivering prototypes using the OpenAI API.
- Exhibit strong presentation and communication skills capable of translating technical topics for senior leaders.
- Take end-to-end ownership of problems and demonstrate willingness to acquire missing knowledge to complete objectives.
