Role Overview
The Oracle Procurement Lead is a key Architect position responsible for driving the strategy, solution architecture, and execution of the global procurement technology ecosystem at Cloudflare in Austin, TX. This role suits a procurement technologist and architect who understands the entire ERP Source-to-Pay lifecycle and wants to bridge user-centric intake with rigorous financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture: Define and maintain long-term technical architecture for the procurement ecosystem, ensuring system scalability, security, and interoperability between Zip and Oracle Fusion.
End-to-End Process Architecture: Design and optimize global S2P processes for frictionless hand-offs between upstream sourcing/intake and downstream purchasing/payables.
Platform Configuration: Act as the functional lead for Oracle Fusion Procurement, building complex intake workflows and configuring Requisitioning, Purchasing, and Supplier Portals.
Integration Ecosystem Management: Own the functional health of Oracle procurement system integrations by monitoring data flow for Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Supplier Master Data, and Compliance screening.
Strategic Business Partnership: Lead discovery sessions with Global Procurement, Legal, and Accounting to translate high-level business policies into precise logic.
Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure the Oracle system of record remains audit-ready and manage the mapping of Category Codes, Cost Centers, and Tax attributes between Zip and the Oracle GL.
Release Management: Manage quarterly Oracle update cycles and conduct impact assessments on new features to protect integrated workflows.
AI Procurement Agent Strategy & Governance: Lead adoption and functional governance of Oracle's embedded and custom AI agents, such as the Procurement Policy Advisor.
Oracle Fusion Lifecycle Management: Oversee full lifecycle management within Oracle Fusion, including requisitioning, purchase orders, receipts, and invoice matching.
Supplier & Trade Configuration: Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion supplier master data, trade management workflows, and complex approval hierarchies.
Requirements
10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Procurement, covering Self-Service Procurement, Sourcing, Purchasing, Supplier Model, and Contracts.
5+ years of experience specifically in Oracle Fusion Procurement.
Deep understanding of the Source-to-Pay lifecycle, including PR/PO lifecycle, Accounting, and Contract Lifecycle Management.
Proven experience managing API-based integrations between Intake-to-Procure tools and Tier-1 ERPs.
Ability to map complex, cross-functional business processes and identify automation or bottleneck removal opportunities.
Experience establishing technical standards and governing system changes in live production environments.
Certifications in relevant Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement modules.
Nice to Have
Experience in an organization transitioning to the Oracle Cloud Ecosystem.
Hands-on experience with the Oracle Fusion Global Trade Management system.
Third-party supporting software experience such as Ironclad or Navan.
Exposure to the Data Center Infrastructure industry.
Working knowledge of AI Agent Studio for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
