Build scripts utilizing Python and other tools to remove repetitive operational tasks and leverage agentic AI workflows to lower administrative overhead.
Direct remote hands and field contractors on rack-and-stack installations, optical cross-connects, cable management, and power and cooling requirements.
Offer technical leadership to junior team members and remote contractors during on-site deployments, providing configuration guidance and quality control.
Author and maintain standardized SOPs, MOPs, runbooks, and visibility metrics to maintain consistency across global regions.
Collaborate across functional teams including Infrastructure Planning, SRE, and Network Engineering for global expansion efforts.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience in Data Center Operations, Network Engineering, Linux System Administration, SRE, or DevOps.
Comprehensive knowledge of physical datacenter infrastructure including power, cooling, CWDM/DWDM optics, cabling standards, and lights-out management.
Strong understanding of network protocols, topologies, design, and physical or logical network connectivity troubleshooting.
Proficiency in writing Python or Bash scripts to automate operational workflows alongside experience with agentic AI tools.
Hands-on background utilizing configuration management platforms such as SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Demonstrated ability to manage global vendors, anticipate execution roadblocks, identify failure patterns, and write precise operational documentation.

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with network NOS platforms including Juniper Junos, Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Arista EOS, SONiC, Ciena, or Nokia/Infinera.
Core internet routing knowledge covering BGP and Anycast alongside load balancing concepts using Nginx or HAProxy.
Program management experience utilizing JIRA, Excel, or Google Sheets to monitor multi-region rollouts.
Multi-lingual abilities and international infrastructure management background.
Linux certifications such as RHCSA or RHCE, or programming experience in Go.
Professional-level network certifications like JNCIP or CCNP.
Experience working in 24/7/365 mission-critical service environments with on-call rotation requirements.
