Joining as a Forward Deployment Architect means taking charge of the complete lifecycle for AI transformation projects, from early pre-sales technical scoping to post-sales delivery and custom integration coding.
The work requires bridging technical depth with customer-facing engagement, acting as the primary technical owner for client relationships. Daily responsibilities include designing scalable agent-based systems, building proofs-of-concept, and debugging complex integration challenges alongside internal product and engineering groups. Candidates who succeed here bring a strong background in software development, cloud infrastructure, and modern AI frameworks combined with a genuine desire to solve practical problems for customers.
What you will do
- Design, configure, and launch intelligent agents utilizing the DevRev platform to address specific business needs.
- Connect AI agents with external platforms such as CRMs, APIs, and databases to enable seamless workflow automation.
- Tune prompts, logic, and agent configurations to maximize accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
- Partner directly with customers to translate business needs into detailed technical agent specifications.
- Lead live demonstrations, build rapid proofs-of-concept, and refine solutions based on customer feedback.
- Define project plans, align internal teams, and ensure the timely delivery of deployments.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor regarding AI agent architecture, performance, and long-term scalability.
What you need
- Bring 7 or more years of professional experience in software development, AI or machine learning engineering, or technical consulting.
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
- Possess applied knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and evaluation frameworks for agentic AI.
- Have hands-on experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, alongside modern DevOps practices.
- Show comfort with integrating systems through APIs, webhooks, and event or data pipelines.
