DevRev needs a Forward Deployment Architect in Mumbai to bridge this divide by owning the end-to-end design and delivery of AI-driven transformation projects for global clients. Operating primarily in customer-facing scenarios, the person in this role will build intelligent agents, integrate external platforms, and write code to validate technical feasibility while partnering closely with pre-sales, product, and engineering groups.

What you will do
- Design, configure, and launch intelligent agents utilizing the company platform to address specific business problems.
- Connect AI agents with external systems such as CRMs, APIs, and databases to enable seamless workflow automation.
- Refine prompts, logic, and agent configurations to improve accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into detailed technical agent specifications.
- Lead live demonstrations, build rapid proofs-of-concept, and iterate on solutions based on user feedback.
- Define project plans, align internal groups, and ensure the timely delivery of deployments.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor regarding AI agent architecture, performance, and long-term scalability.
What you need
- Possess seven or more years of experience in software development, AI or machine learning engineering, or technical consulting.
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
- Bring practical knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and evaluation frameworks for agentic solutions.
- Maintain hands-on experience with cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure alongside modern DevOps practices.
- Demonstrate familiarity with system integration through APIs, webhooks, and event or data pipelines.
