About this role
Designing, developing, and launching AI agents, integrations, and automations that connect DevRev with customers' existing tech stacks and workflows forms the core of daily operations for this role. Team members collaborate closely with the pre- and post-sales Customer Experience group by building applications on the core platform using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python. Another major focus involves constructing the Knowledge Graph by integrating the platform with various SaaS and non-SaaS systems through webhooks, APIs, and real-time communication architectures.
DevRev builds a unified AI-ready platform centered around Computer, an AI teammate that consolidates data sources, tools, and workflows to provide real-time insights and agentic actions. This position exists to bridge the gap between technical capabilities and customer deployment, requiring significant travel and direct engagement with users. Ideal candidates combine strong software engineering fundamentals with customer-facing communication skills and a readiness to handle rapid prototyping and integration tasks.
What you will do
- Design and launch custom AI agents, automation scripts, and integrations that link the platform with external systems.
- Connect SaaS and non-SaaS platforms utilizing APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures.
- Apply prompt engineering and generative AI techniques to improve agent accuracy and user experience.
- Write SQL queries, analyze data, and build dashboards to surface insights for customers.
- Develop rapid proofs-of-concept and conduct live technical demonstrations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, customer success, and revenue teams to align on deliverables.
- Travel up to 80% of the time for on-site implementations and technical workshops.
What you need
- Bring at least 5 years of professional experience in software development, platform engineering, or systems integration.
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, along with data structures and algorithms.
- Possess familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, RAG frameworks, and agentic AI solutions.
- Show deep experience with API integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and large-scale data synchronization.
- Maintain hands-on experience deploying applications on serverless and edge platforms using modern DevOps practices.
- Exhibit strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both engineering and business stakeholders.
