Role Overview
As part of the Human Frontier Collective Fellowship, this role brings together domain experts to work on high-impact projects shaping the future of artificial intelligence. Contractors help design, assess, and interpret advanced generative AI models while working alongside an interdisciplinary network of thought leaders and researchers.
Key Responsibilities
Participants engage in projects with partnered AI labs and platforms. Responsibilities include building complex real-world scenarios, reviewing model outputs for accuracy, and ensuring regulatory alignment. Fellows provide targeted feedback to enhance model performance across areas such as compliance, litigation, case law, and contract analysis. Additionally, participants collaborate with research teams to co-author technical reports and research papers to boost academic visibility.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor, Master of Laws, or be currently enrolled in a prestigious 2L or 3L program. Bar admission in any jurisdiction is strongly preferred. Applicants need a professional background as an attorney, associate, legal analyst, counsel, law clerk, in-house counsel, legal researcher, or law professor. Essential capabilities include legal research, regulatory framework analysis, constitutional law, case law interpretation, and drafting legal briefs. Candidates must also have authorization to work in their country of residence.
