Role Overview

As the Lead Technical Recruiter, you will act as a strategic talent partner to founders and leaders across engineering, research, and business functions. You will own critical and senior searches from start to finish, helping to shape the overall recruitment function while scaling the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end executive and technical searches, taking charge from market mapping and talent strategy through the final offer and close.
Counsel hiring managers and leadership on role definitions, expectation calibration, and search execution.
Source passive candidates creatively to build robust pipelines for engineering, AI, research, and business roles.
Track funnel metrics, analyze recruiting data to resolve bottlenecks, and report on hiring progress.
Leverage AI tools and assistants, such as Claude, alongside automation technology to streamline workflows while maintaining a personalized candidate experience.
Enhance recruitment practices by refining processes, improving interviewer standards, and mentoring team members.
Promote the company mission as a credible market ambassador.

Requirements

At least 8 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including a strong background in filling senior and difficult technical positions.
Demonstrated familiarity with technical functions, specifically hiring within AI, ML, research, or infrastructure settings.
Ability to manage GTM, marketing, and business searches in addition to core technical recruiting.
Proven history of successfully closing top-tier senior talent within competitive hiring markets.
Strong command of recruitment data and metrics to guide strategy and influence stakeholders.
Builder mindset focused on rapid prototyping, process creation, automation, and continuous improvement.
Daily use of AI assistants and proficiency with a modern AI-native recruiting stack.
Direct experience acting as a trusted advisor to executives and founders.

Nice to Have

Background in retained executive search or serving as a strategic search partner to startup founders and executives.

Salary and Benefits
