Key Responsibilities

Partner with go-to-market leads to handle technical discovery, execute proofs of concept, and manage solution design from the initial call to closing.
Develop working prototypes and reference integrations showcasing text-to-speech, speech-to-text, LLM routing, and realtime API solutions within client contexts.
Act as the primary technical advisor during onboarding to help clients transition from a signed contract to production-quality integration.
Translate customer requirements into actionable feedback for the product and engineering teams.
Address advanced technical inquiries regarding latency, deployment options, streaming architecture, and model selection.
Maintain a collection of integration examples, demo environments, and technical collateral for the revenue team.
Spot expansion opportunities by understanding client projects and defining the technical sales process as an early hire.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager.
Strong hands-on coding skills with the ability to write production-quality integration code, featuring strong preference for Python and additional capability in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Deep familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning APIs, including large language models, speech models, and streaming APIs.
Proven ability to execute end-to-end technical proofs of concept and drive them to clear decisions.
Effective communication skills suited for bridging technical and business discussions with high empathy and integrity.
Ability to thrive in ambiguity within a high-growth startup environment.
Bachelor degree or higher in a technical field.
Must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work.

Nice to Have

Experience working with voice artificial intelligence, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, or real-time audio and speech systems.
Background in gaming, contact center as a service, or media and entertainment industries.
Familiarity with on-premise and edge deployment patterns involving containerization, model serving, and quantization.
Experience with WebSocket, WebRTC, or real-time streaming infrastructure.
Prior startup experience or background as a founder or operator.
Familiarity with modern go-to-market tools such as Clay, n8n, and Zapier.
