About this role
Regional IT operations in the APAC time zone often lack local technical anchors, leading to delayed support and fragmented device management for growing teams. Cohere addresses this gap by hiring an IT Support Specialist based in South Korea to manage core identity, collaboration platforms, and daily helpdesk requests.
This person operates as the primary contact for internal employees, bridging traditional support with modern systems engineering by utilizing automation and scripting to streamline user lifecycles. An ideal candidate brings a patient, customer-focused mindset, strong organizational habits, and the technical background needed to eliminate manual toil while ensuring secure workforce operations.

- Troubleshoot workstation, laptop, mobile, and basic network issues for both on-site staff and remote employees.
- Manage end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding workflows to guarantee zero-day access provisioning and hardware readiness.
- Build and maintain internal support documentation and knowledge base articles for consistent handling of recurring issues.
- Track hardware inventory while coordinating device replacements, repairs, and hands-on maintenance for printers and meeting-room peripherals.
What you need
- Demonstrate professional proficiency in English alongside Japanese or Korean.
- Bring at least five years of experience working in help desk, internal IT support, or similar technical environments.
- Possess hands-on experience supporting user accounts, password resets, MFA, and SSO via Okta and Google Workspace.
- Show familiarity with Mobile Device Management platforms such as Iru and Microsoft Intune.
