Role Overview

As the enterprise AI platform scales and accelerates its leadership in sovereign AI solutions, the Head of Corporate Development will drive ecosystem expansion through targeted acquisitions, channel relationships, and strategic alliances. This position focuses on supporting growth in regulated industries, government sectors, and global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and execute acquisitions or investments in complementary technologies, specifically focusing on compute infrastructure, specialized AI capabilities, and regulatory compliance tools.
Lead due diligence processes alongside cross-functional teams to verify technical integration feasibility and ensure strategic alignment.
Manage post-merger integration to maximize value realization and revenue synergies.
Support entry into new international verticals and geographies through targeted collaborations with industry leaders and government partners.
Partner with product, engineering, and legal teams to align deals with technical capabilities, ethical AI standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with finance to build robust financial models and valuation frameworks for partnership and M&A opportunities.
Identify and negotiate transformative alliances with ecosystem key players, including telecommunications companies, hardware infrastructure providers, cloud platforms, and government entities.

Requirements

Twelve or more years of professional experience in corporate development, strategic partnerships, or investment banking within a technology company.
Demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence, software-as-a-service, or enterprise software.
Proven track record of closing partnerships and M&A deals that successfully drove significant revenue growth or strategic market access.
Direct experience dealing with sovereign AI deployments, regulatory compliance, export controls, and government partnerships.
Strong negotiation and deal-structuring capabilities involving complex, multi-stakeholder agreements.
Extensive professional network across AI and enterprise technology ecosystems.
Analytical rigor with deep expertise in financial modeling, market sizing, and valuation analysis.

Salary and Benefits

Annual salary range between $375,000 and $465,000 CAD.
Weekly lunch stipend of $75 or local currency equivalent.
