The GTM Systems Engineer position at Rogo in New York City involves building and managing the core revenue engine and technology stack using AI-driven tools. This builder-operator role suits an experienced revenue operations professional who wants to shape the future of enterprise financial technology.
Role Overview
Rogo is hiring a GTM Systems Engineer to lead the architecture, administration, and scaling of the revenue technology stack in New York City. Operating as a hands-on technical owner, this role requires rethinking conventional go-to-market systems by integrating artificial intelligence into every layer of the revenue engine. Reporting into RevOps leadership, the engineer collaborates directly with sales, sales development, customer success, deal desk, finance, and engineering teams to build automated, scalable, and reliable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Own Salesforce completely, including the data model, schema, Flows, validation rules, permissions, record pages, and platform reliability across the entire revenue lifecycle.
Build and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, SOQL, Flow, and Lightning Web Components with proper testing and documentation.
Administer and integrate a diverse tool stack including Gong, Clay, Apollo, Lusha, Nooks, Default, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and DocuSign.
Manage quote-to-cash tooling, CPQ controls, multi-year structures, approval paths, contract extraction, entitlement layers, and renewal mechanics.
Design, build, and deploy AI capabilities into the GTM motion, such as account health models, MEDDPICC scorers, deal inspection, and research agents.
Build and extend MCP servers and agent tooling to allow LLMs to safely read and write GTM data.
Treat data quality as a production control by executing deduplication, domain normalization, and population-scale backfills.
Requirements
5+ years of experience owning GTM systems within a revenue, sales, or RevOps organization, with extensive hands-on Salesforce administration.
Demonstrated experience building full GTM tech stacks and managing tools beyond Salesforce like Gong, Clay, Apollo, and DocuSign.
Hands-on background with CPQ tooling, quote-to-cash workflows, contracts, entitlements, and customer lifecycle design.
Recent, concrete experience integrating AI and LLMs into GTM systems, such as building scoring models or research agents.
Working familiarity with Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components, along with the ability to use AI coding tools effectively.
Proficiency in SQL and enough Python or scripting experience to build and debug pipelines, integrations, and data backfills.
Strong written communication skills to articulate technical designs and trade-offs to engineering and business leadership.
Nice to Have
Experience building or extending MCP servers, agent frameworks, or LLM orchestration tooling.
Production experience with automation platforms or iPaaS solutions like Workato, n8n, Tray, or Zapier.
Familiarity with the modern data layer including Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and Hightouch.
Active Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform Developer I.
Background working in compliance-sensitive environments like SOC 2, SOX, or IPO readiness.
