Cognition is currently seeking a GTM Recruiter to join the International Talent team based in Singapore. This full-time position involves partnering with regional leadership to drive go-to-market hiring and build top-tier pipelines across the APAC region.
Role Overview
The GTM Recruiter position operates out of the Singapore office as part of the General & Administrative department. This role suits professionals with a builder mindset who want to shape talent markets, map commercial talent, and influence hiring strategy in competitive technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment for go-to-market roles throughout Singapore and the broader APAC region.
Construct comprehensive talent maps across enterprise software, cloud, infrastructure, developer tools, AI, and high-growth technology sectors.
Collaborate directly with hiring managers to establish role requirements, calibration standards, interview processes, and candidate profiles.
Source, actively engage, and successfully close top-tier passive candidates.
Communicate Cognition’s company story with clarity, credibility, and high energy to the market.
Guide candidates through a rigorous hiring process while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Utilize data and market insights to inform leadership regarding pipeline quality, conversion rates, compensation signals, and hiring risks.
Collaborate with international talent leadership to enhance processes, elevate hiring standards, and build scalable recruiting capabilities across APAC.
Serve as an active talent advisor rather than an order taker.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in recruiting go-to-market talent for high-growth technology companies.
Solid understanding of SaaS, enterprise software, AI, cloud, infrastructure, or developer tools markets.
Track record of hiring across APAC regions, which may include Singapore, Australia, Japan, Korea, India, or other regional markets.
Ability to identify, engage, and attract high-caliber passive candidates.
Strong stakeholder management abilities with the confidence to advise, calibrate, and push back against senior hiring leaders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High agency, strong ownership, and meticulous attention to detail.
Proven history of hiring bar-raising commercial talent in competitive markets.
Comfort working within a fast-paced, ambiguous 0-to-1 environment.
Strong sourcing discipline and capability to build pipelines independently without relying heavily on inbound interest or agencies.
A builder mindset geared toward improving recruitment systems while consistently delivering work.
Nice to Have
Prior experience helping build early go-to-market teams within new international markets.
Experience recruiting for frontier AI, enterprise software, infrastructure, cloud, or developer tools companies.
Understanding of both commercial hiring and technical-adjacent go-to-market roles.
Experience partnering with regional general managers, sales vice presidents, or founding country leaders.
Comfort shifting between strategic talent mapping and hands-on execution.
A deep focus on quality alongside hiring speed.
Experience closing candidates who have multiple competing job options.
