Role Overview

Rogo is seeking a full-time GRC Analyst based in New York City to support customer trust, security assurance, and compliance programs as the company scales globally. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working at the intersection of security, compliance, and customer engagement within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support customer trust and security assurance processes by handling customer security inquiries and risk assessments.
Act as a primary point of contact for customer security reviews while working closely with internal teams to deliver timely and accurate responses.
Maintain and enhance security documentation and response materials to ensure they align with existing systems and controls.
Partner with security and engineering teams to explain technical controls clearly to customers.
Assist with compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, the EU AI Act, UK Cyber Essentials, and GDPR, which includes audit readiness and evidence collection.
Identify trends and gaps from customer inquiries to help continuously improve security and compliance practices.
Help streamline trust-related workflows to accommodate growing customer volume and enterprise requirements.

Requirements

Background supporting customer-facing security, compliance, or trust functions at a cloud-native or SaaS organization.
Ability to translate complex technical security concepts into concise and clear written answers.
Familiarity with standard enterprise security expectations related to data protection, access control, incident response, and cloud infrastructure.
Strong attention to detail alongside the ability to manage several concurrent requests accurately.
Effective communication skills suited for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Sound judgment when dealing with sensitive or ambiguous security inquiries.
Genuine interest in working where security, compliance, and customer engagement meet.

Nice to Have

Practical experience handling security questionnaires, third-party risk assessments, or audits.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts including AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and IAM.
Background in scaling or improving trust, GRC, or compliance processes within growing companies.
Previous experience supporting enterprise-level customers.
Comfort discussing security, risk, and compliance topics with financial services clients.
