Role Overview

Scale AI is hiring an accountable product manager to drive product outcomes inside a portfolio of key enterprise accounts in New York. The person in this role will act as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, guiding complex software and AI deployments from contract signing to production. Rather than functioning as a roadmap product manager or a solutions engineer, this individual will own production results, identify product constraints versus execution blocks, and feed precise evidence-backed perspectives back to the core platform team.

Key Responsibilities

Accountable for product delivery and customer value across high-impact enterprise accounts.
Build trusted advisory relationships with C-level and VP buyers as well as senior technical leads.
Serve as a reliable escalation point on the Scale side to address and resolve issues early.
Drive deployments from initial contract stage through to fully realized production environments.
Translate messy customer workflows and friction points into specific, evidence-backed product inputs with clearly articulated tradeoffs.
Partner closely with forward deployed engineers to ensure coordinated team execution.
Identify and foster account expansion opportunities rooted in demonstrated customer value.

Requirements

Bring six or more years of experience in product management, technical program management, or a customer-facing product ownership role.
Demonstrated history of successfully shipping products or platform capabilities into large organizations beyond pilots or proofs-of-concept.
Extreme ownership, follow-through, and the ability to close loops without reminders.
Comfortable working simultaneously with senior executives and senior engineers in high-stakes environments.
Strong judgment under pressure to make fast, reliable calls with incomplete information.
Technical fluency capable of supporting real conversations regarding architectural tradeoffs with platform engineers.

Nice to Have

Direct experience working with AI and machine learning platform products such as data labeling, RLHF, fine-tuning workflows, or model evaluation pipelines.
Background in an early-stage startup or dynamic environment where processes had to be built from scratch.
Prior experience in a forward-deployed or embedded capacity, such as consulting, field product management, or solutions engineering with ownership.

Salary and Benefits

Full-time base salary range for this New York position is $240,000 to $300,000 USD, determined during the interview process based on qualifications and experience.
