Role Overview

The Forward Deployed Investor serves as the primary financial expert during client engagements, driving go-to-market strategies and showcasing the platform's value. This role requires partnering across departments to translate complex investment workflows into impactful artificial intelligence solutions. Candidates will operate in a fast-paced environment where they own complex challenges and help redefine financial workflows for major investment institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and lead tailored platform demonstrations that highlight artificial intelligence capabilities across investment diligence, portfolio construction, and front-office deal execution.
Build trusted, consultative relationships with senior stakeholders such as partners and managing directors during early sales conversations.
Scope and execute proof-of-value exercises that align platform capabilities with specific prospect workflows and business outcomes.
Create high-quality demo environments, messaging, and enablement materials to enhance the go-to-market motion.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to represent the voice of the customer and guide product development.

Requirements

Possess three to five or more years of front-office experience at a top-tier hedge fund, private equity firm, or investment bank.
Demonstrate deep fluency in investor and banker workflows, including valuation, financial modeling, deal execution, diligence, and investment committee preparation.
Exhibit executive presence with outstanding communication and presentation skills suitable for senior financial stakeholders.
Ability to connect prospect business problems to technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Hold at least a Bachelor's degree.
Maintain a structured, outcome-oriented approach to defining success criteria and building business cases.

Nice to Have

Previous experience in business development, sales, or limited partner-facing roles managing enterprise client relationships.
Background partnering with engineering or product teams to translate financial requirements into product enhancements.
Past experience working in fintech, business-to-business software-as-a-service, or artificial intelligence in customer-facing roles.
