Role Overview

HappyRobot is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for a full-time, remote-eligible position based out of Chicago. This opportunity is well-suited for a versatile, technically skilled builder who enjoys blending customer-facing engineering with hands-on technical development.

Key Responsibilities

Guide clients through the onboarding journey and support their continuous utilization of the HappyRobot AI platform.
Ensure users extract maximum value from autonomous enterprise solutions.
Manage and integrate APIs alongside other tools to connect with third-party enterprise systems.
Fine-tune voice models, transcribers, and LLM prompts while constantly iterating on specific use cases.
Develop new features or entire minimum viable products under tight deadlines.
Balance multiple projects efficiently while communicating complex technical ideas clearly.

Requirements

Comfortable working across the full stack using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Strong and practical proficiency in Python.
Hands-on background in constructing AI and ML applications.
Capacity to prioritize tasks and juggle multiple initiatives successfully.
Excellent communication abilities for explaining technical topics to diverse stakeholders.
Possess a founder mindset characterized by hard work, independence, and strong ownership.
