Role Overview

The Forward Deployed Engineer combines technical execution with strong communication abilities to guide clients from onboarding to ongoing usage of HappyRobot's platform. This position bridges customer success and product development, allowing engineers to build features, shape AI workflows, and solve complex real-world operational challenges for global enterprises.

Key Responsibilities

Partner directly with clients through onboarding, implementation, and continuous support to maximize platform value.
Build scalable solutions, minimum viable products, and new features that drive positive customer outcomes.
Design and iterate on artificial intelligence applications, including prompt engineering, voice tuning, and transcribers.
Handle APIs and third-party integrations to guarantee smooth functionality.
Collaborate across product, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver customized tools.
Prioritize and manage multiple assignments efficiently under tight deadlines.

Requirements

Strong full-stack technical experience using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Hands-on background working with Python.
Practical history of creating artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, such as LLM prompting and tuning.
Competence in managing APIs and connecting third-party enterprise systems.
Exceptional communication abilities to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical individuals.
Proven skill in organizing and delivering multiple projects promptly.
Independent founder mindset with a deep sense of ownership and adaptability.
